Before you apply gel products, make sure to follow these guidelines:
Make sure you educate yourself on how to apply gel products safely in order to protect yourself from potential allergies or sensitivities. Gel polish use requires a thorough application and attention.
- Gel polish products must not come in contact with the skin. Apply only to the nail plate.
- If you ever get product on the skin, clean off immediately with a wipe soaked in cleanser or remover. Do not cure the product on your skin.
- Gelpolish Factory products should be cured in no less than a 48W nail lamp with a wave length from 360-405nm.
- All our products must be cured for 120 seconds. It is very important you follow the curing times and use a strong nail lamp that cures the entire layer of product.
- If irritation occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.
- Do not apply gel polish if your nails are damaged or if you suffer from any nail conditions.
- Always follow our online guides where all necessary steps are explained.

Step by Step Gel Polish Application Guide:
Give your hands and nails a quick clean with soap and water, dry off well, and you’re on your way!
File your nails into your desired shape.
Gently push back and clean up cuticles with a cuticle tool. Scrape away any loose or dead skin on the nail, making sure you use a gentle hand so you don’t cut yourself or damage your nail plate and cuticle.
Gently buff your nail’s surface to remove shine and add a grit texture for your gel polish to grip onto.
Clean off your nails with a lint-free wipe soaked in nail prep cleanser.
Apply a thin layer of Gelpolish Factory Nail Prep & Prime for better adhesion and a longer-lasting result. Let the product air dry completely. It should not be cured under a nail lamp.
Apply a thin, even layer of base coat, avoiding the cuticles and skin. Don’t forget to seal the free edge on the tip for a better lasting result.
TIP: If you have thin or soft nails that need extra support and strength, use builder gel instead of base coat.
